PART TIME PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT-EVENT STAFF
Salem Media Group Inc – San Antonio is looking for talented and motivated individual who wants to be a part of a great team in the conservative and Christian arena in San Antonio. We are currently seeking a Part Time Promotions Assistant.
The Part Time Promotions Assistant assists the promotions department in a variety of capacities.
THIS POSITION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
Assist the promotions director with scheduling guests to be on Project One Show
Keeping track of scheduled guests and upcoming
Assist our marketing and content promotional efforts on Facebook, twitter and other social networks.
Setting up and our 4 radio stations at station events and on-site appearances at various locations in and around San Antonio. This includes setting up the station booth(s) and being a face of the station as you engage with our listeners and the community.
Attend promotional events, including set up and breakdown of equipment, provide support and interact with listeners
Organize and maintain promotional supplies/giveaways
Maintain active database of churches
Help maintain company vehicle: Fuel van for events and remotes, keep clean inside and take to car wash before events
Requirements:
Need to have a strong interested in publishing across social media,
Strong written and verbal skills
• Strength in evaluating and interpreting data
• Familiarity with the conservative political landscape
• Photoshop/Adobe Creative Cloud skills a plus
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be comfortable interacting with people at events, outgoing personality is a plus
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time at events
• Must be able to multi-task and have exceptional organization skills
• Must be efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point, and Photoshop
• Must have wide weekend and nighttime work availability
• Good writing skills and creativity are integral to this position
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office a must
