Job Description:

The Pastor of Discipleship is or will become a certified pastor in Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).  He/she reports to and serves under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Pastor, and assists the Senior Pastor in the ministry of Word and Sacrament.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Equip the congregation for evangelistic outreach.
  • Develop and oversee congregational small group ministries.
  • Identify, recruit and match disciples with ministry positions.
  • Oversee new member assimilation.
  • Oversee worship ministry volunteers and training.
