GENERAL SUMMARY: The Senior Content Manager is responsible for leading and managing content creation and editing for CRISTA Donor Engagement. Services include providing strategic fundraising, communications and digital content for World Concern, Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM) and other CRISTA ministries as needed. Provide leadership to those on his or her team, as well as others producing content in the department, guiding them to the most effective voice and message for donor engagement. Lead content voice and vision, helping develop brand personas and more. The manager’s work, and the work of his or her team, is disseminated across media channels, including social media, mailings and event communication. Adapt and develop successful messages between donor audiences by segment, including a mass and major donor audience. Travel may be required to gather content in the US and across the world.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Content Creation: Serve as lead writer and editor for Donor Engagement, overseeing writing services. Research, write, repurpose or edit content for a wide variety of communication pieces, including (but not limited to) direct mail, email and web content, contributed articles, fact sheets, position papers, letters, newsletters, brochures, event content, marketing collateral, advertising presentations, interviews, scripts and advertorials, client/donor correspondence and reports.
Team Management, Editing and Coaching: Manage content team and provide editorial guidance to ministry leads. Review content for voice, effectiveness and tone to maximize intended outcomes. Work with other stakeholders, including Donor Relations, to understand content needs, and then work with content team to fulfill requirements.
Content Curation and Development: Develop forward-thinking content for use by Resource Advancement. Be ahead of what others realize they need, producing and guiding the production of content that deepens relationships with donors.
Voice and Profiles: Collaborate with ministry marketing leads and VPs to develop and manage brand personas for each ministry, which can be leveraged in donor segmentation and inform consistent message. Help develop key stakeholders and thought leaders.
Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
