Night duty position's one for the girls dorm and one for the boys dorm

At our children's home we are in need of night duty persons to assure each child that they are safe in their own home while they sleep. Each night duty person has a back up person asleep in an ajoining apartment ready to assist with nightmares or restlessness. This ministry for children (Hope House) provides permanent placement for adoptee's with failed or failing adoptions. The need for kind-gentle and yet firm direction from adults is needed. Are you able to love without needing to play rescuer? If so please apply right away-our night duty people are preparing to retire and it is time to be blessed by new staff.

You will be given as part of your coming on staff your own personal apartment with full kitchen-bathroom-living room and bedroom: You will have monthly financial pay (small but good) internet service-cell phone and plenty of food. You may have two small animals (dogs must be on a leash when out of your living space) cats are also welcome.

These two positions are perfect for online students-as inbetween room checks studing can occur. Also well work well for older family staff as "hard work" is not involved-but consistency is necessary.

Full training to meet our kids needs is provided.

After a full phone interview-a check on your resume and so forth. We will invite you to come and visit at our expense. We are interested in persons who are desiring to serve with us in ministring to hurting children ages 8-21.

About Hope House, Inc.

In 1973, Donnalee Velvick saw a need for a home that would benefit "hard-to-place" kids. Children who have mental, physical, and/or emotional challenges often "fall through the cracks" in our society. Her dream grew and developed into Hope House Home For Children. Hope House is located just west of the city limits of Nampa, Idaho, on approximately 75 acres in six different homes according to age, gender, and ability. We provide a home for approximately 40 youths under the age of eighteen and approximately 20 disabled young adults. Our staff consists of twelve full-time volunteers who live on the premises, ten College Interns and student helpers, as well as teachers, cooks and support personnel. Donnalee's mobile phone is 208.890.5000. Please visit our web site for details.
