Bay Harbour UMC in League City is a growing church in a growing area. God has called us to reach a greater number of people in our area, especially the younger, unchurched families around us. We are convinced that in order to reach a diverse community of people we need to have diverse expressions of worship. Currently we have traditional, blended and contemporary worship services. We are looking for a person who is able to transcend one style of worship and lead the traditional and blended services. This person must be able to build and direct a choir but also an instrumental/vocal team with equal skill and passion. The full-time position will involve working with the pastor in planning worship services, leading all worship-related teams and being a part of a terrific team of people committed to reach the unchurched world and make disciples of Jesus.
League City is south of Houston, perfectly located between all the amenities of Houston (fourth largest city, most diverse city, best restaurants, etc.!) and the relaxing beaches of Galveston. League City has a great blend of small town charm and the energy of a fast growing city. Many young, unchurched families are moving to our area and Bay Harbour UMC is moving them into a growing relationship with Jesus.
