Job Description:

Our Hispanic Christian Talk and Teach Station has a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves and appreciates a combination of sales/marketing with ministry development for a thriving Christian, Talk and Teach Radio station in the South Florida Market.
The duties of the Local Ministry Director includes, but not limited to:

  • Networks with the local pastoral community
  • • Build Relationships with area churches to enhance their ministry via radio
    • Represent WKAT at local ministry events such as church conferences, pastoral seminars and other forms of community outreach
    • Solicits sponsors for the radio station’s own ministry and community events (ie: Pastors Appreciation Luncheon, concerts, special events and radio ministry seminars)
  • Solicits advertisers for all station properties such as Digital Marketing and WZAB.
    • Have the ability to make sales calls to churches and ministries for radio broadcasting.
    This is a full time position, complete with paid holidays and health benefits. Compensation is based on experience (salary + commission).

Requirements

A sales background is necessary as this is a commission-based sales position.
