The role of the Paramus Multisite Worship Coordinator is to, under the leadership of the Co-Directors of Worship, oversee (1) Worship LIFE Team member involvement, (2) coordinate worship experience and special event music (vocals and band), and (3) assist
in creative development and programing of weekend services. This is a part-time position requiring the following responsibilities and qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in choosing music that is in alignment with TLCC DNA for events and worship experiences, as needed by the Co-Directors of Worship
- Lead the band and singers in executing music
- Coordinate music for special events
- Coordinate weekend programming, after receiving general programming flow from West Orange. Campus. Translate the programming specifics into site-particular needs through use of tech. sheets, vocal recordings, and more.
- Responsible for the weekend execution of all technical and production operation related to the weekend service
- Coordinate translation of creative pieces into the multisite
- Lead communication and management of program flow on Sundays
Qualifications:
- Pastoral presence on the stage, with an ability to engage the heart of the people through music and words
- Must be musically and creatively talented; proficient in both leading vocals and bands
- Growing knowledge and appreciation for spiritual and secular music from the past and present
- Passion for mentoring others with wisdom and grace
- Effective in multi-tasking and completing assignments on time
- Capacity to recruit, sustain, lead and develop a strong volunteer culture
- Ability to lead and thrive in a team-based environment
- Self-starter with a solid work ethic and highly developed communication who can accomplish assigned projects as directed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
