Lead Teacher Preschool 3’s

Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or related field. 

The Crossing Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team.  The ideal candidate will provide a Christ-centered education that nurtures the spiritual, academic, emotional, and social development of our young learners.  The preschool teacher will create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment that reflects our Christian values. 

Key Responsibilities:

            Spiritual Guidance

• Integrate Biblical principles and Christian worldview throughout the curriculum.
• Lead daily prayer, and Bible lessons with students.
• Model Christian behavior and values in interactions with students, parents, and staff.

Instruction and Curriculum

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that meet academic standards and promote intellectual curiosity.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, interactive play, and technology.
• Assess students’ progress, through observations, reports and formal evaluations.

Classroom Management

• Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures aligned with school policies.
• Address behavioral issues promptly and effectively, maintaining open communication with parents.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with fellow teachers, staff, and administrators to promote a cohesive educational program.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on student progress and school activities.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
