Global Disciples, Lancaster, PA, is a faith driven non-profit ministry with a mission to share the good news of Jesus Christ among unreached people groups. Founded in 1996, Global Disciples seeks to equip believers in their own cultural context, sending near-culture mission workers to reach the least-reached, multiply disciples, and plant locally sustainable fellowships and churches. Today, Global Disciples partners with over 1,700 groups of churches in 72 nations and has a vision to see that every person has an opportunity to choose to follow Jesus Christ.

Global Disciples is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into the next era of growth and impact. In partnership with the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will implement a strategic plan to expand the ministry’s reach while also ensuring long-term organizational success. Additionally, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will oversee daily operations, champion a healthy organizational culture, foster team development, and ensure financial sustainability. A seasoned professional, the ability to represent the organization well and build strong relationships both internally and externally is essential to the role. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with strong operational skills and a heart for advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ globally.

 

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Position Qualifications:

  • A personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the mission, beliefs, and values of Global Disciples
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required; An MBA or related advanced degree, a plus
  • At least 10 years of proven executive leadership experience in a mid-to-large, multi-faceted organization with the ability to develop employees and build cohesive teams
  • Cross-cultural experience and an ability to build meaningful relationships across different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Previous professional or volunteer leadership experience within a non-profit, ministry, or community-based organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Software (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
